Sunday Facebook Challenge - Birthstone Colour - Emerald Green

Hi there,

today's theme of the facebook stamping group is "Birthstone Colour"

I am born in May, so my color is EMERALD

Emerald is a symbol for rebirth and it should grant youth, good fortune and forsight to the owner.

The word origin is Smaragdós/Greek or Smaragdus/Latin wich is translated as green gem. Emerald itself is derived from Esmeralda/Esmeraldus (vulgar Latin) a  variant of the Latin word Smaragdus.

Actually, there are some greens in my stash, but it took me a while to find the perfect green for this nail art.

China Glaze Jolly Holly & Glittering Garland are the both greens I used - I used the first one in two coats over Essie Help me grow and sealed it with Essence BTGN Top Sealer. Then I used a sponge and Glittering Garland to put it on the tips.
I stamped with H&M Golden Treasure and Konad m78. Actually this is one of my favourite image plates! I finished my stamping with Essence BTGN Top Sealer.

[NOTD] Glamour in Red

Hello there,

today we went to a great brunch and I want to show you my manicure for this event. My Dad celebrated his 70th birthday this November and my Mum will be 50 the next month, so they celebrated their birthdays together on this day. It was a great atmosphere and awesome to talk to my cousins and my brother and his beautiful girlfriend.

So I went with a black top, black trousers and a cardigan in grey-white-black, so I decided to go with some red for my nails and lips...

I used the Perfect Formula gel coat in two coats as a base and applied one coat of OPI The thrill of Brazil.

Then I used a sponge and China Glaze Ring in the Red to use it on my tips and finished with one coat of Essence Better than gel nails Top Sealer.

Halloween Challenge - Blood/Gore/Splatter

Hello there,

today's Halloween Challenge Theme is Blood/Gore/Splatter. I did a mani like that a while ago and haven't posted it yet, so this is my interpretation of blood!

So as a base I used OPI's Alpine Snow, I know, I complained about the opactiy, but I love love love that crisp clean white.

Then I used China Glaze Phat Santa and a straw, my fingerprint and a dotting tool to do the Nailart:

Halloween Challenge Witches

Hello there!

Well, actually this challenge took place yesterday, but I didn't manage to get onto the computer, so I post my mani tonight.

I really loved that theme, mainly because I have a image plate with bats and witches so this is my mani:

So, I first used China Glaze Mrs. Claus and OPI's Black Onyx on my ringfinger:

As a stamping plate I used Bundle Monster 13 and P2 as polish. For the Ringfinger I used China Glaze's Ring in the Red and a sponge to apply it.

[Nail Art] Nail Art Challenge Candy Floss | Water Marble in Pink-White

As soon as I read the theme for today's challenge (as a part of this year's summer challenge) on the Facebook page, I had the imagination for my design.

When I hear about CANDY FLOSS, I am always thinking of white and pink coloured themes and sweet and fluffy twines full of yummy candy floss.
So I decided to do another water marble, this time in pink and white and added some cotton wool for the special texture.

Step by Step:

First, I applied P2 Base+Care Coat as a Base Coat, then I added one coat of Essence Iced Strawberry Cream. I really love that colour, but actually it is more rosy, than the picture below shows.

Second I did the water marbling, I used Alessandro Happy Pink, Yves Rocher French Manicure White, China Glaze Frosty and Essence I want that.

I am happy with the outcome, (don't know, why I got that blister on my ring finger nail :-() and I really start to love water marbling, I have so many ideas for different designs, can't wait, to try them all.

For a finish, I applied one coat of Essence gel look top coat and dipped some cotton wool into the wet top coat.

Ready to go for some yummy CANDY FLOSS NAILS:
