[NOTD] Primark Nail Polishes & Essie Penny Talk
Hi there
today is Monday, and so I needed to cheer myself up a little bit.
So I did some mani and stamping with some new Primark nail polishes.
This is with what I came up with.
I used Essie Help me grow as a base and applied one coat of the Primark varnishes. It's kind of a weird colour, kind of a khaki green, but it reminds me of a lake or pond at the same time. It's sometimes more than a teal. Definitely a green with a little teal/turqouise/blue hint.
Then I used a clingfilm and the second of the Primark ones. This one is a bright shimmery blue-turquoise-green. I really love how it turned out. I used Essie Good to go, to fix these colours.
Then I did the stamping with Essie Penny Talk, I really love this copper tone. I used the Cheeky CH-14 image plate. I finished with one coat of Sally Hansen InstaDri. Et voilà my manicure.
I really love how this colour-combination turned out.

Sunday's Facebook Challenge #10 Valentine's Day
Hi there,
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!
Today's choice in our Facebook group Adventures in Stamping is Valentine's Day.
First I wanted to create a mani in pink or red, but then I went to our local H&M last afternoon and found Peppermint Fusion a beautiful shimmery light blue and so I decided to come up with some design in blue and brown.
As a base coat I used 2 coats of Essie Help me grow followed by two coats of H&M's Peppermint Fusion and finished with one coat of Essie Good to go.
I saw this colour on some blogs and really fell in love with it. When I first popped into the local H&M last September this colour was available, but I didn't buy it. And after that, I couldn't find it everywhere. So I am really happy that I found it yesterday.
So then I went with Manhattan St. Honore a shimmery brown by using the Cheeky plate CH15. I finished my mani with Sally Hansen InstaDri.

Sunday's Facebook Challenge #9 Stamp your profession
Hey there,
Sunday is almost over, but I was busy all the day, so I show you my mani for today's Facebook Callenge in the evening.
Today's topic is "Inspired by your profession". Well really difficult for me as I work as an Au Pair and I don't have any stamps that fit.
So I went with another thought. I am minding 4 kids, 3 boys and a cute little two year old girl. She is so cute, I really would steal her from her family if I could. So as she loves pink and Minnie Mouse and Hello Kitty I did a girly pinkish mani with a Hello Kitty stamping.
First I went with three coats of the beautiful "Prospect Park Pink" of NYC's. It such a nice elegant rose colour, I really fell in love with.
Then I used Dashica's SdP-46 on the tumb and ring finger and Cheeky's CH-24 on the middle finger and used a dotting tool for the polka dots. The polish I used for this is OPI Mauving to Manitoba.

Sunday's Facebook Challenge #8 Stamping + Tape
It seems like I haven't participated on the Facebook Challenge since years. Every weekend I was kind of busy or I forgot to participate, but for this weekends challenge I'm back with a great theme.
It's tape and stamping, two great things combined and I decided to go with one of my favourite themes. I am celebrating the NHL season, that finally started last weekend and so I went with a mani for my favourite team, obviously the Pittsburgh Penguins.
So I first used Micro Cell as a base coat and then I applied two coats of NYC Pinstripe White and the Technic Gold polish onto my nails.
TAPE:
On the thumb and ringfinger, I then used the tape and Technic Gold and on my pinky I used NYC City Blackout.
STAMPING:
Thumb & ringfinger: Cheeky CH-8
Index & middlefinger: HB 41

Essie Where's my Chauffeur + OPI Pirouette my Whistle
When I saw the first swatches of Essie's Where's my Chauffeur, I wanted this colour badly. It is for my such a great tone, it reminds me of Tiffany's aswell as it let me think of spring and summer.
This green-turqoise shade is such a nice combination and goes with a lot of other colours. I got myself a bag and a scarf with similar shades to mix.
I used Microcell Repair as a base coat, 2 coats of Essie Where's my Chauffeur? and one coat of Sally Hansen's Insta Dry
I loved to see a glittery combination, so I decided after two days to add OPI Pirouette my Whistle and I think this is a great looking yet simple combination.

[NOTD] Glamour in Red
Hello there,
today we went to a great brunch and I want to show you my manicure for this event. My Dad celebrated his 70th birthday this November and my Mum will be 50 the next month, so they celebrated their birthdays together on this day. It was a great atmosphere and awesome to talk to my cousins and my brother and his beautiful girlfriend.
So I went with a black top, black trousers and a cardigan in grey-white-black, so I decided to go with some red for my nails and lips...
I used the Perfect Formula gel coat in two coats as a base and applied one coat of OPI The thrill of Brazil.
Then I used a sponge and China Glaze Ring in the Red to use it on my tips and finished with one coat of Essence Better than gel nails Top Sealer.
