[Stamping] p2 Volume Gloss Happy Bride & Fresh Sister

Hi there!

I hope you are all okay.
Today, I have a nice summery stamping with a saran wrap base for you!

First I used p2 Happy Bride in one coat. If I would have worn this polish on it's own, I would have applied a second coat.

I used p2 Fresh Sister and cling film to create this effect:

The stamping is done with the white stamping polish by essence and Cheeky's plate CH 14.

[NOTD] Primark Nail Polishes & Essie Penny Talk

Hi there

today is Monday, and so I needed to cheer myself up a little bit.
So I did some mani and stamping with some new Primark nail polishes.

This is with what I came up with.

I used Essie Help me grow as a base and applied one coat of the Primark varnishes. It's kind of a weird colour, kind of a khaki green, but it reminds me of a lake or pond at the same time. It's sometimes more than a teal. Definitely a green with a little teal/turqouise/blue hint.

Then I used a clingfilm and the second of the Primark ones. This one is a bright shimmery blue-turquoise-green. I really love how it turned out. I used Essie Good to go, to fix these colours.

Then I did the stamping with Essie Penny Talk, I really love this copper tone. I used the Cheeky CH-14 image plate. I finished with one coat of Sally Hansen InstaDri. Et voilà my manicure.

I really love how this colour-combination turned out.

Sunday's Facebook Challenge #10 Valentine's Day

Hi there,
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Today's choice in our Facebook group Adventures in Stamping is Valentine's Day.

First I wanted to create a mani in pink or red, but then I went to our local H&M last afternoon and found Peppermint Fusion a beautiful shimmery light blue and so I decided to come up with some design in blue and brown.

As a base coat I used 2 coats of Essie Help me grow followed by two coats of H&M's Peppermint Fusion and finished with one coat of Essie Good to go.
I saw this colour on some blogs and really fell in love with it. When I first popped into the local H&M last September this colour was available, but I didn't buy it. And after that, I couldn't find it everywhere. So I am really happy that I found it yesterday.

So then I went with Manhattan St. Honore a shimmery brown by using the Cheeky plate CH15. I finished my mani with Sally Hansen InstaDri.

Sunday's Facebook Challenge #8 Stamping + Tape

It seems like I haven't participated on the Facebook Challenge since years. Every weekend I was kind of busy or I forgot to participate, but for this weekends challenge I'm back with a great theme.

It's tape and stamping, two great things combined and I decided to go with one of my favourite themes. I am celebrating the NHL season, that finally started last weekend and so I went with a mani for my favourite team, obviously the Pittsburgh Penguins.

So I first used Micro Cell as a base coat and then I applied two coats of NYC Pinstripe White and the Technic Gold polish onto my nails.

TAPE:
On the thumb and ringfinger, I then used the tape and Technic Gold and on my pinky I used NYC City Blackout.

STAMPING:
Thumb & ringfinger: Cheeky CH-8
Index & middlefinger: HB 41

Halloween Challenge - Inspired by a Scary Movie

Hello Lovlies,

this is it, the Halloween Challenge 2012 is almost done, can't believe, how fast the time flew.

Well today's theme is inspired by a scary movie.

I want to tell you a little story, why I chose this movie. So I was about 9 or 10 years old, when I went to another girls birthday, we had fun and then she asked if we wanted to watch that movie. I have no idea which one of the series it was, but it just was with Freddy Krueger. The night, when I came home, I did not want to go to bed. I was afraid, that he would come into my dreams and would kill me, I did not realize, that this was just a movie.

So this is my Freddy Krueger inspired manicure:

Index and ringfinger are inspired by his jumper he is wearing, the other ones are inspired by his skin.

The red is NYC Madison Avenue the brown is Manhattan St. Honore - one coat each

Then I used NYC City Blackout and Cheeky's image plate CH 10 for the stripes and a foil and Manhattan Pumpkin Carrot Pie for the skin - image.

Sat-ART-day on a Sunday - The 1950's

Hello,
again I am a day too late for a challenge, yesterday's theme of the Sat-ART-day on the Facebook-page was the 1950's and I really loved the theme! The first thing that come to my mind when I think about the 50's are polkadots and so I had my inspiration for this mani:

I used Essie Help me grow as a base, on the ringfinger two coats of NYC Pinstripe White, I just discovered this brand here in a pharmacy in Ireland, I love this white, in fact it is a rare one that only uses two, nearly just one, coats.
On the other fingers I used NYC Madison Avenue. Well a nice bright red, with a shimmer, but unfortunatelly you can't see that one, it's a dull rainy day without any sun, so I wasn't able to show you the subtle shimmer.
Finished with one coat of Essie Good to go.

For the polkadots I used NYC Pinstripe White and Madison Avenue for the stamping on the ringfinger I used Cheeky CH-24 and NYC City Blackout

Sat-art-day! Finally - it has arrived!

Hi there,

it's there, the first Sat-art-day has finally arrived! So glad about it and I am really excited about it!

Sat-art-day is a Challenge, that takes place on Saturdays with different subjects, you can find us on that Facebook-page!

So, the first theme of the challenge is TARTS! So I had the chance to go with the normal interpreation of "cake, pastry"-stuff or the one that is connected with a special type of women. So I went with the second way:

So, I started with one coat of Essie Nourish me and then 2 coats of OPI Meep Meep Meep and finished with one coat of Essie Good to go.

Aww, that colour is so amazingly beautiful, really love it, its red-pinkish and that glitter-glimmer inside is in real so awesome when you have the chance to put the fingers into bright sunlight!

Then I applied different stamping motives with P2 eternal
